November 24, 2019 - JC FIT, Jersey City

The holidays are a time for family - blood, chosen and everything in-between. So in 2019 we lit up our gym’s holiday party with a surprise performance that ended up raising $300 for Toys for Tots. We even pulled in our coach for a number that got everyone to empty their wallets.

$1,061 for Puerto Rico

December 11, 2017 - LITM, Jersey City

In solidarity with the people of Puerto Rico Jizzy and Dulce threw the ultimate holiday party where all proceeds went to the Medshare Hurricane Maria Fund.  MedShare is dedicated to bridging the gap between surplus and need to improve health care and the environment in the United States and abroad.  One of the vast ways they accomplish this goal is through disaster relief.

We drank, we danced and someone fell off the stage.

$5,496 for Planned Parenthood

June 15, 2016 - The Delancey, NYC

To celebrate Planned Parenthoods 100 years of service we decided to do what we could to join the fight for women reproductive rights.  Abortion is a personal decision a woman should make with her physician and who ever else she decides to consult.  Withholding the rest of the family planning services Planned Parenthood provides will only increase abortions.  More services and more education will help decrease them.  There are fights in state legislatures around the country to defund Planned Parenthood and shut down abortion clinics.  We need to STAND UP DRAG Back for all women who do not have the funds to receive private healthcare.  The amount we raised is just a drop in the bucket of what Planned Parenthood needs to provide all of its services.  But it’s our drop and we’re damn proud of it.  Add your drop by clicking on the link and donating.
